DIY: Facial Mist For Oily Skin

So it’s been one of those days when I am feeling super lazy but I have to gather up all that’s left inside and get my jazz together and create content. I received 2 emails in the past week from two lovely ladies requesting some DIY facial mist that can help with their oily skin. I was so happy to know that people can approach me now. :’) So without further ado, I stepped in, did a little research in my family and came up with this miracle mist that my cousin swears by. She uses it one-twice a day, depending upon the skin situation.

You can surely customize the usage according to your liking. Lets get in with the ingredients, shall we?

You’ll be needing;

❤ A cup of luke warm water
❤ One green tea bag / a tbsp of green tea
❤ 4-6 drops tea tree oil
❤ Half a lemon
❤ 8-10 Fresh mint leaves
❤ 1 tbsp rose water (opt)
❤ A Spritz Bottle

Combine all these ingredients in a bowl and set aside till the green tea is fully given off it’s extract.Rose water is an optional ingredient for waking up the skin and making it look fresh and dewy. After that pour the concoction into the spritz bottle and there you have it! You’re very own Facial Mist for Oily skin.

I hope it helps you just as it helped my cousin. Do let me know how you feel about it. Even tweet me your pics if you make this. I would love to see you lovelies. Tweet me  @heybeautybae

Good Luck xx

    • Absolutely. But I’d rather leave the lemon out if u wanna double it up as a cleanser because lemon dries up the skin. Substitute it with another tbsp of rose water and you’re good to go ^_^
